Metaphors and analogies

Whenever i speak to people i am forced to use metaphors and analogies in order to be understood. Having to say things multiple ways leaves me with little desire to communicate . I have only met one person(other than myself) who seems to speak and understand the words coming out of my mouth ...i just don't get it!

A few possibilities...

One: you’ve got very poor communication or social skills. Two: you’re using incomprehensible language or you’re not using the correct language to describe whatever it is you’re trying to say. Three: the people you’re associating with aren’t very intelligent (note that this one only applies if this isn’t a problem everywhere you go). Finally: you’re an alien and the language you speak is incomprehensible to humans (note that this is highly unlikely so please refer to one of the other possibilities above).

That someone who feels forced to resort to metaphor and analogy, isn't that great at communicating in the first place. Clear, direct language shouldn't be misunderstood.

Field of topics

Hmm that does sound exhausting and frustrating. I wonder about what kinds of things you’re often talking to others about. Is it a higher level of a particular field or a subject matter that most are unacquainted with? Or it’s possibly someone pulling your leg enjoying hearing you explain something they find embarrassing.
That, or others genuinely enjoy listening to your entertaining and enlightening analogies. Perhaps writing a book needs to be in your future, then in the future you can simply tell them to read your book :)

Most people are sleep walking through life.
It was probably a robot, could have been a zombie.
The robots at least are pretty convincing.

Me too.... It’s like people don’t have the depth of experience or emotions. Thus forcing me to use metaphors or analogies also.
