Miss the Office

I am glad to have a job and my health, but I do miss the office. I feel more productive there and miss getting up for a stroll to use the washroom, get a drink of water, ask a colleague a question etc. Strapped to the chair the whole day is a pain in the back (not neck-back).

I part agree on the missing chatting with some colleagues. But water and washroom breaks still happen for me. Maybe scheduling in few daily Walks might help?
I definitely don’t miss the office. I don’t have to deal with the following anymore:
- the sexist assholes
- the gossip
- the people who only talk to me when they need my help
- the miserable woman in shipping who hate-walks the place
My work is the easy part!

I agree with you totally .... I found myself not drinking water as much, not walking around as much, ... I miss my office!

You don't miss the office, you miss socializing.

and am so enjoying being away on a paid vacation. Pure ecstasy not having to listen to know it all’s, Managers with unrealistic expectations & deadlines, drama queens not getting enough attention and lack of perfume and body odour leave me grateful of this special time. OP sounds like an extrovert of the verge of snapping, I suggest you splurge and buy yourself a PlayStation Virtual Reality headset and play Job Simulator, it’s just like working in an office or a convenience store without having to leave home.
Miss the Office??

Guess life is more exciting and fulfilling at the office than at home? Maybe you can make more money if you give up your vacation days too?
