Nothing left

If I disappeared right now the only people that would notice would be my boss and my landlord. I make money for the former and give money to the ladder. It really seems like my only value is as a tool. I'm a tool. It's not worth living for. Everywhere I go i'm just an obstacle for important people with clearly important things to do.

Not much I can offer to counter this bleak outlook, and by no means am I criticizing you. Many would probably think my outlook and worldview is bleak as F if I ever let them know the other me. Do you feel like there's no purpose and no point to your existence? I do...not yours, but my very own :)
It's hard to be helpful here except to offer the cliched You Ain't Alone In This kinda talk and that I'm here for ya if needed(but not really).
Just get a cat or some other furry creature and have something that needs your love. Good place to start eh?

I hear you, lone star
I see you twinkling
Feel your magic
I want you to know that you matter
You are more than a tool
In fact, you sound more useful than a lot of tools out there

Fellow Tool

We’re all tools unless we’re living life completely independent from society. Don’t get too down about it. Your landlord and boss are also tools for other people. Think about it, they are also tools for you to be able to have money and a roof over your head. It works both ways.

The mere fact that you are here, living, breathing, existing, is worth everything. You are never just a tool.

Ah yes, that epiphany. We've all been there. This is the part of your life where you make your life belong to you. It's time to self-nurture. Register for a class or workshop on something that interests you, just for fun. Enjoy a nice meal alone or with a friend or loved one. Listen to music you love and sing or dance like no one is watching. Explore sensual and sexual pleasures. Exercise. Seek new experiences or knowledge. Last but not least, instead of giving that money to a landlord, travel. If you want personal growth and adventure, there's nothing like travel. The places and people you meet will leave a lasting impression on you unlike serving the economy and routines in Vancouver. Try to use the economy to benefit you not your boss or a landlord.

If we are tools, we are tools that can reshaped and repurposed. Find things that interest you ( Isn't space amazing?!!) and try to spend as much time as you can thinking about them while youre not working because in the end, we must all be multi-tools.
