I was offered a promotion a year or so ago. I didn't respond and now that I've had a lot of time to think about it....I don't want to be involved with that. Maybe that will change later but from what I see now....no way jose.

I've left jobs that in retrospect, was always the smartest choice.

I went out with an old acquaintance when someone they knew, who I never worked with, came into the conversation.

They started talking about a colleague, unbeknownst that I worked with them and let slip how they were spending their time making defamatory statements, sabotaging people they worked with online *lightbulb*. They were terrible at their job and their work was never up to par. Those who can't do, bully.

I didn't work there anymore, I was laughing it off, but man do I feel for anyone who does. That's petty drama no one needs at work.

Things usually have a habit of working out the way they're supposed to.

Don't know what your numerals are saying, but it reminds me of the question: How come 6 is angry with 7 ? Because 7 8 9 :-)

I accepted a job offer that I wasn’t looking for and didn’t really want. The dollar signs wooed me though, and in spite of the multiple red flags I accepted it. It was, without question, the worst decision of my life. I wound up working for an organization rife with corruption, and a leader who was a malignant narcissistic if ever there was such a person. If I’d trusted my gut instincts I’d never have taken that job, but I did and it ruined my career and my life. Listen to your gut!
