I confess that the lockdown permitted me to look at what I was calling once, a 'close circle' with a fresh set of eyes. It's not a circle anymore.

Are you for serious? You know that in any actual crisis none of your "friends" would have any idea what to do. How many of them conduct drills with their friends? None? I thought so.

If I want to be with someone, I don't need a drill to show me how to to do it, crisis or no crisis.

My "close friends" all see it as no problem to go out after a hard day at work. Take vacations, date. And then call me to say, oh it's been so long maybe I'll see you in 6 months, I'm so busy. lol. Maybe not.
Also saying the virus isn't really a threat and it's the flu. Who are these people? Are they that stupid?

Lockdown? There was never a lockdown here. You could still get your Starbucks coffee even to go, go to Walmart & get a pair of cheap socks, you could still go to the liquor to stock up, you could still go to Kits Beach or Second Beach or English Bay (even though they were encouraging social distancing), there was never a lockdown, the police never rounded up people & made them go home....people, for the love of Colonel Sanders, don't say there was a lockdown here, there never was
