Eating Local

I don't think you're eating your best life in BC if you're not having a bowl of home-cooked spot prawn linguine, luke-warm Warba potato salad, or Van Island ice cream sprinkled with local blueberries, for summer! I love our province and all the wonderful foodstuffs we gather and produce here; and, it saddens me sometimes that folks living here don't have any clue.

How can you make such a blatantly obtuse statement? As if you alone are the only person who enjoys our local food? That’s ridiculous.

Sea bugs and solidified bovine secretion packed with refined sugar sounds absolutely disgusting. I’ll take the pasta and fresh fruit though.

Yeah we have a clue: for what you pay for a meal of spot prawns, Warbas, and Island imported fancy ice cream, I could feed my family for a week.

"sprinkled with local blueberries"?

Fresh blueberries are so delicious that combining them with anything else is unthinkable. I eat them by the bowlful.

that you’re either a business owner or someone financially unfazed by Pandemic 2020 that can afford these luxuries of undiscovered BC. Sturgeon caviar with your bread and craft beer?
