Good riddance

I just officially gave up on a passion project side hustle that I have been working on for 7 years. Despite the fact that I wanted to do it, was passionate about it, and though it was a great idea, the market clearly thought otherwise. I never made more than about $200 in a month. Today, I officially gave up and deleted my website and other pages. You'd think I should be sad and disappointed, but I actually feel free and liberated. I am glad I tried it, but I need to focus my energy on things that actually make money. Good riddance!

Enjoy the sweet release and be proud of yourself for being decisive. Finality takes courage. Now you have a wide open space to begin the next phase of your life.

I hear singling out specific groups for being fragile and then coaching them on their indelible and fruitless attempts at eradicating a disagreeable aspect of themselves is a real money maker.
Surprisingly, you can now do this without referring to it as a cult, but the devotees tend to be weak minded virtue signalling utopians - and who ever went broke charging these rubes money?
Helps to have a female grifter up front though, preferably one with some corporate and academic junk on their CV. I know from experience they're a bit more high maintenance than former exotic dancers.
Let me know if you wanna get together and spitball some ideas.

200 bucks a month seem worthwhile

"You mean you don't want to join our cult? That's the biggest sign you need our cult, it means you're a SINNER!!! Only sinners have any problem being told they're sinners, you know."

You have entrepreneurial skills, good for you! You followed through, and it didn’t go the way you’d hope, but who cares
Good job on trying something and sticking with it, that’s how success is born and millionaires!! Best of luck on your next adventure

too many of the hipster art markets especially do nothing but taking advantage of creative people....they're no better than a high end art gallery in that regard. that said, so many markets are just full of lame 1970s "crafts" like macrame pot holders and "handmade" jewellery made of assembled Michael's Craft Store Mad-in-China base metal parts....that you are better off anyways doing your own thing, your way. keep at it!

$200 is nothing at a market when their fees are the same, if not more...
