So sorry for your loss... Perhaps it’s true that those that burn the brightest also burn the fastest? This world is so freaking hard on people. It seems the older we get, the more we know, the harder the struggle is to survive let alone thrive. It actually really irks me that so many good people can be in so much pain or mental anguish. We all deserve so much more opportunity at happiness in our life’s purpose. Why does this world seem to make it so damn difficult?! I am truly sorry for your friend’s obvious pain and suffering. I hope that they may finally be at peace as they return to the source where we will all go after this life. I hope that all the good times you shared will help you through this difficult time. This has helped me immensely in the past to avoid also drowning in the sorrow of loss. It can be a deep whirlpool to nowhere good. Remember we all come from star dust and it is still bursting with light.

There's something so unsettling about what you wrote.
If you did lose a friend, honour him appropriately.

He probably did a bunch of really good things that you may not yet know about. Most people do. What irks me is that a lot of very aggressive people get to pursue their happiness, forgetting that the sentence about the pursuit of happiness ends in "as long as it does not infringe on other people's rights and well being". Well. what is Global Warming for instance other than the rich inflicting a catastrophe on everyone. I can find smaller examples but this one comes to mind immediately. Anyone not frustrated to the max about this other than the beneficiaries who obviously do not care ?
