I wish we had better TV shows, like from the 80s and stuff, when they were more crude and blew up cars with real explosions and stuff. The visual effects are likely just as expensive and suck. Is this environmental regulation or something? Why don’t they do cool explosions anymore with crazy bad-ass cops and stuff? I am a millennial but I grew up watching stuff like Lethal Weapon. I miss stuff like that. Simple times... I don’t think people are offended by 80s TV, are they?

Offended?

Why would they be offended?
Seeing 80s stuff makes me sad & nostalgic for my teen years... and wishing I'd made better chices, such as: did better in school, graduated, travelled, got a degree or two, so that now I'd be not just financially independent but also wealthy enough to buy my parents' home and buy them a nice, safe condo. (their neighboUrhood has gone downhill & the house & yard is a lot of work)

I like watching movies from that time. California was so undeveloped and the hairstyles & writing were so bad. Simpler pre-internet times.

Are you for real?

That stuff was crap back then and it’s ridiculous now lol. Occasionally something somewhat resembling originality shows up on tv, but most of it is absolute garbage geared towards people without a functioning brain. The so-called “reality” shows (that are anything but), are the lowest of the low, especially any of the housewives or bachelor nonsense. Does anyone actually believe that any of it is real? No wonder Americans voted for Trump. They’re so used to being fed non-stop garbage.
