I finally went to the beach which is my favourite thing in life. I wore lots of sunscreen but still burnt to a crisp. Now I have awful tan lines and I’m a lobster. :(

Slather on the aloe and treat your bod to a bag of frozen peas if you’ve got em. I have vamp skin and am lobster lite from a midday walk yesterday. UV is pretty intense right now. Wishing your epidermis a swift recovery.

Make sure to check the expiry date on your Sunscreen. It typically loses its effectiveness after 3 years.

Laying in the sun is like playing in traffic on the highway.
Don't do it.
SPF 60 limitations

I agree that SPF 60 is the bare minimum. However, I wore SPF 60 in Hawaii and burned right through it. It could be that you sweat profusely and thus sweat off your sun protection. Hats, long sleeves and shade are also necessary for not burning.
