Why are we acting like it's gone?

People, why are we acting like it's gone? it is still around, trust me. Yet every time I go out, it seems like less people are wearing masks, probably much less than 20% of us are masking up. And nobody seems to be socially distancing anymore, every time I go to the store or even when I walk my little Dog, it is a constant struggle to keep any distance. When I went to a store yesterday I had 3 different people come at me in complete disregard for my space at the same time. They corner you, one coming at you one way and one coming at you from the other. And none of them were wearing masks. This pandemic is not over. It is still bubbling under, and the disaster taking place south of the border could happen here too if we don' t remain vigilant and disciplined about taking care of ourselves and others. Don't make the sacrifices of the last few months useless. Put your damn mask on.

I just saw a line up for the bus and only one person was wearing a mask.

I was impressed that a city of oversized selfish children were as well-behaved as they were for this long. It was just a matter of time that their true nature came back out. Oh well, here come more cases COVID-19 and a few deaths because "I'm bored and need an Iced Caramel Cloud Macchiato!"

If the virus starts to spike again

then it's time to make masks mandatory for entry to any store or public building, or on public transit. Make free masks available to anyone who doesn't have one. No mask = no entry.

And as much as I like Dr. Henry, I'd like to see her become a bit harder in her approach if the virus numbers start to increase again. Maybe it's time for her to get a bit BadAss about it.

We've done so well in BC up until now. I'd hate to see us turn into a bunch of irresponsible bimbos like our neighbours to the south.

MOVE YOUR ASS

Jul 3, 2020 at 1:34am

That happens because either you're standing there scratching your ass or people in the other isles are. You've all been told to know what you're getting before you enter the store so this shit doesn't happen. NO LOITERING! Look up the definition if you don't know what that means, and start doing your part which means get your indecisive asses moving!

There's no SD on transit. Translink shows they don't want to do it anymore. Why not ask them why. Translink gives the perception that we are back to normal.

They have 10 times the population density as us.
And the Greater New York population has 24 million, over half the population of Canada, and are jammed into the area of the Lower Mainland ie out to Chilliwack.

translink in trouble. could get sued. hard to prove it came from there. Buses incubators. Remind me why I do not like Vancouver buses. they make it so you fall over bc I guess they have to operate the clutch (buses are from germany)
