The dream

Oh, to be a D-list celebrity. That would be phenomenal and I'd love to live that life.

Well damn OP, you’re in the right town to get started.
There are groups looking for on call PAs, I hear that’s one way to get connections and started in film. Good luck!

Oh yes, shooting those hallmark Christmas movies in August in Vancouver. What a jet set lifestyle, like taking the chartered bus to Abbotsford because there's garden centre that specialized in Christmas trees for that scene when you bump into the man of your dreams. The shot in Gastown for that flashback that takes place in Europe when you are reminiscing about the romance you had when you were backpacking through Europe. Drinking ginger ale out of campaign glass on the deck of someone's West Van home overlooking the sea only to return to your North Vancouver one-bedroom rental after the wrap to eat that Caesar wrap that you bought yesterday. Got to watch those carbs. You're still renting because you're waiting for that call from California and at least it isn't East Van, right? We can dream, we can dream.

@Anonymous (the 2nd one). If you are a D-list celebrity, that is exactly the cool dude I would want to hang out with. None of that A-list crap. Those people have no idea what it is to be normal or humble. That's why I would want to be D-list. They are real people and they are fun to be around.

that doesn't actually sound like bad, bad...
but the combo of beautiful blondes with obnoxious right-wing viewpoints would probably drive me nuts.

Anyone who needs to be on TV or film is mentally ill. Be careful what you wish for.
