Back when email was new

In the 90s I was a partying whore and emailed my best friend about all my acid taking and random hookups and glee at some lover who taught me how to orgasm... and emailed every single person in my address book. I'm married and sober and a lot better at email now. I have earned my boring life honestly, lol

For some of us, it's the other way round

We had the boring life of school and being in relationships, then we realized we didn't have to be in a relationship to live a fun, fulfilling life.
Partying is a lot more fun when you're a confident adult than an insecure teen/20-something.

Yep, I'm sure that's true now. But partying pre- camera phone and social media cannot and never will be beat.

Email blunders

I’ve made a few of those too, over the decades since it became commonplace. We probably all have accidentally sent to the wrong person or hit the send button after writing something after drinking, etc. Looking back on a lifetime of embarrassing memories can actually be pretty funny.

Here's one for you

A few years back, unbeknownst to me there was a natural gas leak over my desk in the office I worked at in Richmond. My better half and I used to commute together so every day I'd email him to let him know how long I'd be or if I was going to be on time. They were usually short messages but full of x's & o's and love you and cutie ass see you soon sweetie pie man...of course I hit send and sent it to my boss. He calls me and asks if I'm leaving work early or something and I didn't understand why he called and then realized (getting a sinking feeling in my stomach) that I'd emailed him and not my husband. I said OMG I like you but not THAT much. We had a good laugh, miss working with the guy.
