I dont see a future

I dont see the point of this shitty unjust world and frankly I dont want to be a part of it anymore. There is no point to all of this. Not for all the hard work and hardship we have to endure everyday, while so many things are so wrong and bad in this world. Killing ourselves and our planet for money. The rich keep getting richer off the sweat of the poor, hard working people. Thats the point. Its all a mirage With no true meaning. Checking out soon and I'm sure that will make many people happy . Your welcome in advance. So sad, so sad indeed, when we practice to deceive.

You’re right

there is no point to anything but don’t kill yourself over it!! Humans want to find meaning in everything, but really life is what you make it. There is no meaning out there for you to find, and if you try you will be disappointed because yes, there are a lot of messed up situations and people out there!! What if you are a spirit who agreed to come here to observe all of this and try to help make it better? Or at least just learn what life is like here?? Maybe the point is that there is no point at all and there was never meant to be besides just being here for a while and experiencing some things. Like, try to detach a bit and not take it all so seriously, just do your best in each moment to not get so bogged down. We are all in the same boat and there are some really good people and things that are worth sticking around for.

The ego

The ego suffers but the spirit has bliss always.

At 7 I thought the point was to become a medieval knight.
At 17 I thought the point was to become famous in my field.
At 27 I thought the point was a particular woman.
At 37 I don't know what the point is anymore.
Save money? Live with a small carbon footprint? Keep reading and learning? Be willing to change? Make the world's best gluten-free vegan pizza?
Sometimes I pet a street cat and think maybe this is it.

Same here

I think my checkout time is on the horizon. Have noticed both my toe and fingernails have stopped growing...surely something awful is beginning to happen inside me.
Would see the doc if only to discover how much time I might have remaining, as I have zero purpose in life and nothing to live for.
Getting ready to go home, far away from this ridiculous world. A life without love and a spirit broken long ago. Just wish I knew what it was all for.

This place is dark, wasn't always that way but that's along long time ago. You are here for whatever reason you are here for. Tell you what though you not where you should be because you wouldn't be talking like this. I have no idea how tied to this place you are, like kids, marriage and whatever else keeps you from digging out and trying something total new. Your out there the you you should be that is. Good luck.

Don't depend on death to liberate you from your imperfection

Sep 27, 2020 at 9:40am

You are exactly the same after death as you were before. Nothing changes; you only give up the body. If you are a thief or a liar or a cheater before death, you don't become an angel merely by dying. If such were possible, then let us all go and jump in the ocean now and become angels at once! Whatever you have made of yourself thus far, so will you be hereafter. And when you reincarnate, you will bring that same nature with you. To change, you have to make the effort. This world is the place to do it. - Paramahansa Yogananda

You're right, there is no point.

In the grand scheme of the universe, there is no point in working hard, doing right by others or thinking before you speak. But as someone who has gone through depressions, contemplated and even attempted suicide, I can tell you that there is also no point in allowing all the bullshit in the world win out over your right to be here.
Points are useful in arguments and at the tip of pencils, but what purpose does it serve to be constantly searching for one in life?
I've learned that there's no harm in finding enjoyment amidst all the tragedy. I don't know what comes after death, but as someone who normally errs on the side of caution, I've decided that I'm going to enjoy the good things in this world as long as I can. The taste of fresh coffee in the morning, watching the Steller's jays cleverly hide their small peanut treasures, the smell of fresh rain in the trees, walks along the beach. These are the small pleasures that get me through my days so that I can continue to lend an ear or hand to the friend in need, offer advice to my mother when she has no where else to turn, and help prepare my little niece and nephew for the unfair world they've been brought into. You might not have any friends or family who you think need (or deserve) your help, but there are plenty of other people in the world who could benefit from the charity of a compassionate and sensitive soul like you.
The less people in the world who can recognize and call out the inequities that persist in it, the more likely they will be to continue unfettered. We can't change the world, my friend, but if we can change one person's life for the better, if even for a moment, then maybe that is the point we are searching for.

Everyone and everything gets dragged out into the light of Truth eventually whether you're there to see it or not.
