If social media were a TV dinner

Would be great if my social media groups did not bleed into the next group. Peas, stay with the peas, and keep away from the steak. People on my LinkedIn hunt me down on other social media, and I don’t really care for that. Stay in your lane, the work lane only.

I'm surprised that someone whose life involves 'steak' TV dinner also involves LinkedIn.

You choose to put your life out on the internet for the world to see, admire, and make judgements on- you don't have a choice and can't complain about what happens to that info.
I have an unusual name, and it does not show up on any search engines.

Yes. And some sites keep your history so you're still "discoverable" under that account. Had to delete a social media account after being gaslighted and manipulated when I found that out.

Or maybe they just want to be friends, but you don't?

Interesting. How were your gaslighted and manipulated?
This is a genuine question, not a mean one.

It wasn't someone in a work-related lane if you're worried about that. I related to being hunted on social media. How? A vindictive person with no boundaries. Are you phishing? It's interesting you need to preface your questions with the intention behind it.

Hunted? As in they came after you in real life?

Or they were just lurking like most people do?
