Over and under

I am so over the stereotypical perfectly shaped woman. I want someone who loves their life, is kind, makes me a better person—- and frankly I used to only go for skinny / tight abs/ long legs.... you know the type.... the ones who work every day to look a certain way. Nothing wrong with taking care of your health and body but the girls who don’t eat and spend 2 hours a day working out and obsess about their weight ? Soooo over it. I want someone who loves themselves. Like enough to have thickness of god intended thickness. There will be people saying “ but obesity is bad”! Give your head a shake and redefine body types and how we stigmatize. Someone who loves themselves will be a better healthier person. Mental health matter too, guys! Grab a girl who is proud of who they are!

I don't get it. But then again my wife is as hot as hell, while swimming and doing yoga which doesn't take up all that much of her time and she is simply a natural beach bunny type to start with.

It doesn't matter the design of the vessel, only how much it holds.

During times of stress, people want comfort - i.e. cuddling up to someone warm and soft.

I disagree. It sounds like it was written by a bitter dude aging out who's only picked Kate Upton's to date and finds himself striking out with them now. He thinks the women he's rejected all his life are going to be clamouring to stroke his ego. I hope they reject him. God knows how viciously he treated them in the past.

OP I wouldn't date you. I'm a woman who doesn't put any work into the god given body I have. I can eat whatever crap I want and couldn't care less what anyone puts in their body. It's called substance. I'm beautiful inside out. Like the many women you're shallowly judging. Good luck finding anyone who doesn't see through that shallowness.

over it too

people who are constantly obsessed with health, fitness and how they look are soooo boring.

I feel the same way about men

I used to date men for their attractiveness. I did it because I wasnt secure in myself and wanted the validation. Now that I no longer need the validation and became confident in myself, I dont feel as attracted to perfection anymore. Lately, Ive been falling head over heels for kindness, respect and connection but it doesnt seem many men are looking for the same in a woman :(

I can't believe this confession has been up so long without someone pointing out that there is a median body size between "obsessed over perfection" and "obese." Both extremes are, in my opinion, highly indicative of neuroses. Being fit yet imperfect is...perfect
