Someone's going down

I have a bad feeling that my co-worker who I really care about is going to get fired. With cause. I've done everything I can, including pumping him up to management and giving him the heads up that shit is coming down the pipe. He KEEPS FUCKING UP. I think part of it is Covid - is just not paying attention like he used to. I feel really bad. I don't want anyone to lose their job in this economy.

Missing client deadlines multiple times, due to missing meetings and correspondence, with no concrete reasons, which costs the company and the client money. In a nutshell.

Don’t worry. He will. It’s the circle of life!!! Don’t feel bad at all. I was in his position once upon a time. I had a drinking problem... and it was my problem. Tough love... I now love it.

either drugs, alcohol or mental illness. call hr get him into the employee confidential help program if he's into it. he prob knows he's messin' up already & having a meltdown thinking about it & making it worse. sometimes people have an unconcious will to do these things so they can get fired & end the never ending sick cycle of fucking up.
