I'm tired of hearing about the US and their Hollywood style politics. Enough already! I only care to catch up on what's going on in my own community.

Don’t watch the news. Look for local news if you must be up to date and don’t watch tv. Simple. Tell your friends or whomever is in your life that you don’t talk about politics.

Of the US politics stuff because I sense that something big is coming and I want to be “prepared,” whatever that means.
But yeah, I get where you’re coming from. The manchild overlord occupies way too much of our collective brainspace, which is exactly what he wants.

What's true for ancient Greece is even more true for modern Canada. I hate surprises, so I check my 6 every day. Since I have no Twitter, IG, Facebook, Tinder or online gaming, and haven't watched TV for 20 years, plenty of time to do that.
Oh, and no drugs, smoking or booze, either. Crashing bore, that's me. But I'm rarely blindsided by other people's bullsh!t.

Let me catch you up: our PM violated his ethics with another unlawful sweetheart deal for another set of rich friends.

same with me. My TV broke 20 years ago so i thought I'd take a short break before i got another one ... but i never did. Now when I'm visiting somewhere and the TV is on I can't stand the sound of the newscaster's voices. They all have the same annoying cadence and subliminal Hz that is a virus to our inner human healthy Hz's. I find what i need to know online & its so easy to decide whether or not to open as news headline. Usually the headlines tell me what i need to know.
I can’t wait

I look forward to the time when the world can give that orange moron the worst punishment he could imagine - ignoring him. A malignant narcissist craves attention, even when it’s negative, so the most effective punishment would be treating him like he’s old news. Unfortunately, doing that would also mean allowing him to get away with all of the criminal activities he’s been doing forever...
