I think I’m psychic

Or at least have some abilities. People usually get jealous or find it intimidating. They’re always wondering how I seem to know everything. They want my advice all the time but then I start to feel sort of used.

Should I invest in a timeshare, or buy more Amazon stock?
Please advise, and I will leave you a payment under the secret tree at you-know-where.
Thanks!

I have met people who seem to know things and can be accurate in assessing people without having much or any exposure to them but I think it’s really just intuition and observation.

What have you learned from it? What do you do with it and how do you apply it to your everyday?

They are probably all laughing at you behind your back. The smug ones are always the weakest/dumbest.

I was in L.A. in the late 70s and someone came up to me and told me what my name was first middle last. She ask me to prove it so i showed her my license. she seem more shocked than me as i remember. her friend that was with her said that she had been doing this for about a week. but it was true. it open my my mind up from that time on i do truly believe that only some people do have this gift.

From the comments I’ve just read it’s clear that many people really don’t understand what it’s like to have this ability. They assume that if you’re psychic that you also show have the ability to control what you see / know, and also have ability to act on it. The reality is so different for the majority of extremely sensitive people. This trait is quite typical in my own family, and I’ve always had it too. Unfortunately, I don’t get to pick the things that I get prescience for, and I sure don’t have the ability to know which of the things I see or sense will actually come true. Stuff just appears in my mind. Such as, I will know exactly what another person is going to say, i can usually tell a pregnant woman what gender her baby will be, I will know exactly what a movie character will do or say, I will have a dream about a horrible event that subsequently happens, I see dead people (yes, and I’m not referencing the movie although it was great), and do on. Am I 100% accurate? No. But I’m accurate enough often enough to know that it’s more than just coincidence. Certain people in my life are very in tune with me, and we are literally like two people in other same body and brain. So I know for sure that extra-sensory perception is real, because it’s been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. The fact that some people like to use the old “but if you were then you’d know such & such” rationale just means that they don’t really understand the nature of the “gift”. Just because we don’t have the understanding of something doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.

#ESP is when you know that you know without knowing why. Or how, or when . . . it just happens.

I know this girl

who presciently anticipates my thoughts dreams and moods then proceeds to post them online. She's also a wee bit of a smartypants showoff yet she's usually bang-on. Don't you just hate it when that happens!?
