A COVID-19 Change

I moved closer to work in the fall of last year and when COVID hit I halted my transit usage. I began walking to work and it has saved hundreds of dollars. Thanks COVID - You are good for something.

I read in Scientific American that there was less man-made seismic activity too. If we don't learn from this how to live better to benefit the planet, then we are all morons.

I used to get really bad colds and flus twice a year. Then I stopped riding transit and haven't been sick in the 9 years since- no joke.
@To Save: On top of that, riding transit took me 40 minutes in the morning and an hour in the afternoon and I had to stand up on the way home. plus I had to walk 10 minutes.
Driving,in the morning took 15 minutes, and 25 minutes in the afternoon with no walking.

I haven't used BC public transit since the compass card. I always live within walking distance from my industry.
