So many things, people, and places that no longer serve me fell by the wayside this year. I know it’s for the better but can’t help feeling a sense of loss about it regardless.

Well, you know what they say - you can't make an omelette without breaking eggs! I'm with you on this one - have already made several changes. Feeling a bit wistful, but trying to keep my eye on the prize. Hopeful for a better future - at least it will be different...

I know how you feel. It's like I'm waiting in limbo for a new life to start that will not be the same as the previous one. The people that before Covid I thought I knew, people I've known for years. I didn't.

the hard times; but somehow i know its all ok in the big picture. I don't got the video proof on it (apart from Hubble Space Telescope video :-) but somehow i know its so.

There seems to be an unprecedented “no turning back” finality to the goodbyes that is throwing me for a loop.
And no opportunities for shiny new things that distract us from our own bullshit ... we are all being called to take a good hard look at what’s best for us and the patterns we need to break for good.
