I like to

travel alone. There is just something so nice about sightseeing and hanging out in an unfamiliar place by myself. It’s like I’m pure energy and I really could be anyone! And it’s interesting to see the types of people and situations I attract when I’m totally free and unchained to anything or anybody else’s perspective. Usually I attract better than what I have at home.....hmmmmm what is that about??

The bar is low if you live in, um, particular places.
I find parts of Europe and South America much more gracious than this area. And people make or break a destination.
You can't talk to scenery or be friends with it. I know - I've tried.

We can't travel anywhere, whether things are 'better' or not.

About four years agoI went to Hawaii alone and I met tons of singles at the bars. It was a great time. Lots of fun!

@Relativity

SE Asia, where the locals don't take themselves too seriously and try to make the best of any situation.

Some of the people I’ve met randomly on solo travels have become friends I still keep in touch with. And yes, I do like them better than many of the people I grew up around in Vancouver!!

Traveling with your boyfriend/girlfriend is like bringing sand to the beach.
