The more food prices go up the more I cook at home

The old-time people used to say: "There ain't no cookin like home cookin. The real-time people now say: "Back to the ancient future." ------------------------- Seasons Greetings Every1 and Happy New Everything in 2021 or on the non-Gregoryscam calendar its 2014

Only way I can afford to live now.
Used to support restaurants all the time but the norm was rising prices, inconsistent product and downright indifferent service.

Made sense to pay $15-20 for a meal, that I can cook at home for $3

It make no sense to eat out anymore. It’s not even enjoyable with the masks and the sanitizer. It’s just sketchy and the food is often not worth it.

Oh I do plenty of baking & cooking myself, and it's easy enough to find recipes for ethnic dishes online, but I'll still occasionally eat out after the pandemic.

The only sensible places to eat at are buffets, not so much for the quantity but for the variety of things you can try. Then you find what you like, find the recipe on You Tube and make it at home.
