Never Seen

I confess to refreshing the I Saw You page and Craigslist missed connections page daily in the hopes that maybe someone out there saw me as someone worth knowing. I’m working on not basing my self-worth so much off other people’s opinions but after feeling so undesirable and meaningless in past relationships I can’t help but wonder what it’s like for someone to really see me. I get it that you need to have self love but it feels obligatory. I want someone to love me not because they have to but because they want to.

Maybe it would be a good idea to start loving others instead of being all concerned about whether or not others love you.
Love is an action verb. Do something kind for someone, just for the fun of it!

Stop playing the victim role. I can't imagine anything more shallow than thinking an "I Saw You" post means that person loves you - ridiculous. When you stop feeling sorry for yourself, seek out some online professional help with the emphasis on self-esteem. You have lovable qualities, you just haven't tapped into them or learned how to express them yet. You'll get there - anything worth having is worth putting an effort into!
