Plebeian sophistry...

Skeptics are fascinating... Flat earth people... Anti vaccine people... Anti mask people...
Whenever I meet one... I really am interested in how they think. There's no animal that behaves and thinks this way... It's really so fascinating - I should have been a psychologist.

No animal does that

You said it " no animal". Perhaps that's what sets them apart from you and all the other animals. I am a psychologist. Keep your day job.

You must have the temperament to be a psychologist, I can't stand superstitions let alone flat earth, anti-masker types.
Well no

Believe me my little duck you don't. People's tiny problems are enough to make me want to eat my fingers rather than writhe in the agony of recounting their torturously boring stories

I think you would be disappointed that many contrarians are doing it to get a rise or attention, rather than having deeply held positions on a flat earth, anti-vax, etc.. In society today there is a currency in celebrity, no matter how that celebrity is obtained.

Was a campaign in the sixties, by the American government. It was designed to heavily influence public opinion, by using media like television and radio, glossy magazines, university professors and other mediums like music and counter-culture. It's not a conspiracy theory because they admitted doing it. They didn't shut it down like they said they would and it simply reformed into the cluster fuck in media that we're treated to everyday. Google it if you don't believe me. And afterwards you might not believe anything your government has to say about anything, 'cause they lie when they speak.
Depends

I'm a skeptic, but not a knee-jerk anti everything. I practice critical thinking - I need solid evidence before I jump one way. I'm also open-minded - I'll change my mind if there's new evidence. I don't just believe everything I'm told. I used to be a journalist and have worked for the government - enough said.
