Covid CRAZY..Or am I ?

I have been watching my roomie (since Covid started) keep randomly hooking up with various people on sites like Tinder and Grinder.. I have tried to be very diplomatic about the risks he takes in meeting and sleeping with randoms., and how I want him to be careful coz we live together... I live by the rule "Live and let live" However, he doesn't seem to care that he is taking a huge chance on bringing it home. I suggested that maybe just keeping one FWB for now or until vaccinated? It seems like he just shrugs it off. I am not paranoid and I do take all necessary precautions. If he continues this hit and quit life style he will end up with something bad... Taking Prep, washing your hands, wearing a mask and social distancing is just the beginning of being safe.. I wish he would be SMARTER and less SELFISH in his choices! After all we are in the middle of a F******* WORLDWIDE PANDEMIC! Grow up! You are almost 40..Start making better choices. AND FU for making me feel like your GD MAMA.

Kick him out!

What he’s doing is more than just reckless. It’s phenomenally selfish, ignorant, and illegal. We are under a health order to minimize our contact with anyone outside of our immediate bubble. The fact that he’s behaving like someone who has absolutely no concern for anyone but himself shows a serious narcissistic trait. If you care for your own wellbeing, you might consider kicking him to the curb. There are a lot of other people looking for a good roommate. He’s obviously not one.

Time to move out

You’re not being paranoid. Your roommate sounds like a asshole on multiple levels. For your own safety, you should get out of there.

You could always report him when he's in the midst of violating public health orders and get him fined. Might teach a lesson.

I’m sorry you’re going through this! I couldn’t imagine living under that constant fear and frustration..... get rid of the roomie or move out immediately. You absolutely have grounds for breaking any lease with this person. This covid beast Is no joke. I work in the emergency department, covid is real.
Get away from the vidiot.

I'm baffled

By the amount of confessions or just people in general that you meet, who are constantly talking about someone they know or someone in their building or someone from work, not being "safe" but how few of these stories ever include "and now everyone's got Covid because of this person".

At what point do people smarten up.
