I confess

I hate those evanglists who trick people out money in the name of goodness. They are the worst kind of thief in my mind.

They are disgusting, but hate is not the proper word or mentality because hate will never conquer hate; always seems to breed more hate. As the great teachings of all ages have shown us, its more fitting to observe this perilous the same way as a coherent adult sitting on a bench at a children's playground; and some of the kids start bickering over controlling the toys or whose got bully rights as they then scratch their butthole and pick their nose with the same finger. Duh! We know its not about political correctness or whose tribal war god is top dog. Its obviously un-evolved monkey business. So, be cool, bide your time and first take care of your own greatest enemy who lives between the shoulders of each and every one of us.

Criminals are the governments.
Spending our hard earned on mostly stupid stuff, and giving it away to people who don't deserve it.

When big fish eat little fish, it's so unfair.

So if our purpose of life limited to the law of the jungle; where does evolution to higher Truth, Beauty & Goodness come into it? Or are you too busy swinging in the trees to even consider that question?

Sure they're scum, but politicians have morphed during the course of my lifetime from public spirited men - into something akin to an evil gold rush for modern politicians eager to sell themselves to the highest bidder.

I agree with "I hate it". It is for me, philosophically, the hardest thing about life to comprehend or accept, that life eats life. It's not only unfair, it's hideous and involves a lot of suffering. In a fantasy universe I imagine, the premise of existence would never be this way. But there we have it and must make the best of it. Our purpose is what we make of it under these harsh circumstances. Truth is elusive, we don't have all the answers, but we can still look for beauty and goodness and at the same time, be disheartened by the the big fish < little fish dilemma.

I used to think this. There definitely is greed with those guys... but have a look at any charity. At least they give you a choice to tithe. The government doesn’t ask... it tells you you’re getting a 500 dollar relief check. Cuts your disability from 300 to 150 for at least 3 months (450)... so it’s ACTUALLY only $50.
I guess we kill obese people by giving them a buffet on Monday and Tuesday then let them fast the remaining 5 days of the week. The government wants us sick. Snakes and ladders. You reap what you sow.

There are cons who sell magic water. Agreed. I’d be more concerned with politicians who make deals they can’t keep. Public servants? I think that name has to change. How about Statistic Artists? Or just Liars...? Sometimes I wonder if our pal Justin thinks he’s the second coming...
