I don’t open the door to strangers..

Because I have experienced a violent break-in. Thanks to the dude who called me a fag today because I made you use the intercom. Hope you may read this and understand why.

Anecdote

Jan 11, 2021 at 3:26pm

I have a jamspace on the east side. This dude walked in and wanted us to play a song for him, said he just got out of jail and offered us drugs. To humor him, we played a song and then he started undressing! (There's a girl in the band) we said that's enough and sent him on his way. Later the owner was walking around with a hammer because dude had started a fight with another band.

So yeah, I always lock the door now

Violent

Break ins are the least of your worries, it's those Jehovah's witnesses.
They kept scaring my 85 yo mom (in the Interior) with weekly aggressive knocking, and peering in through curtains- even after requests to stop.
Until the time I went online, found the minister's name and address, and showed up at his house at midnight in a 7000 degree fury....

Slow clapping

Wow. Good for you. You did what EVERYONE is supposed to do. Why do you think you need to explain anything to someone so ignorant that they call you a name for not doing something really stupid? This is one of the reasons so many guys wind up doing such dumbass stuff! Because some other guy challenges their manhood. When was the last time a woman tried to get some stranger to let them in to a building and when they weren’t successful began challenging the other person’s sexuality? Wtaf.

I used to work in the bar industry, and was multiples more women fighting than men.
Hair pulling, screaming insults, slapping, and clawing at each other's faces over insults to their womanhood. Ending in tears and runny mascara.

The facts

Jan 11, 2021 at 9:11pm

“Delivery people” try and get me to let them into my building all the time. The facts are that we’ve had several vandalism incidents in the parkade, plus theft in the bike room, plus someone’s entire scooter stolen. I have a duty to all my strata folks not to let anyone unknown into the building. I’ll tell the “Amazon” guy that there’s been theft in the building and I can’t let them in. I never feel bad for saying this. If they try to insult me by calling me names, it’s water off my back. Better an insult hurled at my back, then 10 of my neighbours cars ransacked with broken glass everywhere.

You’re missing my point. I didn’t say that women don’t ever fig. I’m talking about the male habit of challenging each other’s masculinity in such a way that far too many of you will do incredibly stupid things just to “prove” your manliness. Females rarely are fighting because of some other female saying they’re not female enough.

Well isn't that nice!! :) Has your strata awarded you a medal for going above and beyond with all you're attending to they've surely witnessed?
