I don’t understand sometimes

Not some divine being, but in reflecting on the crazy state of world (the non-pandemic one)... I wonder like why we all stress? If we are all here for a limited time, why have we let it become so fucking difficult? Spend all the time working & not just standing in the mud to feel the earth and water.

Oh that’s easy... there’s this Canadian RnB artist who self-identifies as a rapper. Didn’t he invent that YOLO and FOMO stuff? Poor Adonis. When he finds out daddy didn’t want him...? Will he grow up to be Eminem 2.0? Highly doubt it.

Well...

You're asking the right questions, so you are self aware and in touch with the important things in life.

So the answer is... Some people are. You see what is displayed for you on the internet/ in the media because of what you click on.

The people standing in the mud are doing just that. In other words, they're not paying attention to social media, doom-scrolling etc. They are working doing only what they have to to earn just enough money and the rest of the time is consumed by experience, rather than screens and things.

You have a choice, we all do.

and like all, sooner or later we all are all faced with the same question: "Where were we before we landed in this Earth dimension; why are we here and where do we go next?" >>>> Walk good Sisters and Brothers >>>> OCM Stó:lō salutations

It became this way

Jan 19, 2021 at 9:32am

because of various men who wanted to have power over people. First it was the ones who were the strongest. Then it became the ones with the most $ and/or influence.
The only way to avoid the typical life is to go off grid.

Technology will save us...

Jan 19, 2021 at 10:13am

It will ultimately free us so we can be fun and creative, which is when humans are at their happiest. Because we shouldn't have to have to deal with this for basic comforts.

The luddites who don't understand technology... While exploiting its comforts... Adopt a sense of skepticism which is so very baffling. The religious groups... Not interested.

It's not occupy wall street... It has to do with adopting and promoting technology... New tools to fix the mess caused by mom and grandpa...

Because

we need to eat and to feed our children. And find shelter. Low wages mean long hrs. I agree it's important to stop and smell the roses as much as you can though.

A workplace injury

Jan 19, 2021 at 10:47am

forced me to find the world you are talking about. for nearly 2 years in rehabilitation when all was lost, all I had was time, pain and the mud in between my toes. because as burgeoning work career was taken from me, I learned that work was not the be all end all. the pandemic beginning was really no different than that for myself. many people will find the world view that you appear to be finding. a warning though, once you gain some stuff back in life, you may easily fall back into the traps of stress and work. but rest assured, once you've found inner peace, it's always within you and you will always have an easier path back to finding it.

Maybe the species just needs a level of conflict in their lives? The Stone Age only ended 5000 years ago. In the timeline of the species that's not long at all. Before that we were in constant conflict. Our biology hasn't caught up. It's a shame, just 80 years on this planet and you're gone. You would think some people would learn to manage that primordial trait in all of us?
