That escalated quickly

It's me, the bitcoin guy again. It helped me pay the rent...but now I'm addicted to it! All I do is check the price, trade it, research it. I can't sleep at night, I am convinced this is my ticket to financial freedom. But I can't think of anything else! What kind of monster have I unleashed!

The moon isn't made of green cheese. As happy as I find myself since you can pay your rent,...

Sorry to burst your bubble. For now, you are on what is called loosely a "winning streak" I hope you don't end up getting hurt when...

Bitcoin is going to crash.

... if you didn't buy with a specific target in mind for your sell, and you're just holding hoping it goes to the moon, there's no point in looking at it all the time. If you want to set a lower limit where you sell, you can probably set up some sort of phone alarm, but I'd advise against that, just hold them, they go up and down...likes the ocean.

I think bitcoin will only go so high, and that's when Ethereum (ETH) will have its day. Speculators will pile in, and it'll have a good run, but it won't be bitcoin. When it's all said and done it will be Bitcoin and Ethereum, and maybe a third coin, but that's it. We won't live in a world with multiple cryptocurrencies like we do with fiat currencies.

This is sort of incorrect, it's not like he is betting on a fair coin toss and he is just under the illusion that his last 3 wins mean he has another coming, or whatever. It is quite possible that Bitcoin will level off, then, as a hedge against uncertainty, be fled to at other stress points, which seems to be the pattern. There is a stress point socially and people go to bitcoin, because it reflects lack of faith in social systems, in a sense.

Anyway, it could be that he has some exit strategy, etc. etc. And all in all focusing on investing can be profitable, acting like it's a casino where everyone always loses is false. If it were, there would not be firms dedicated to investing, and other than fees which are per transaction, the fact is that there is very little about what those firms do that anyone cannot do on a smaller scale, where they reap $10,000 profit in a day, maybe you reap $20. It's all about how much money you need and how and what sort of work you do to get it.

No one cares. I promise you that none of us care how much you made or are set to lose / gain.
Remember when bitcoin came out and all the uber menchs and king dweebs would corner you and talk endlessly about this new cyber currency. Well those idiots are so rich they have robot butler to talk to now. So I suggest the same for you! Since literally NONE of us care about your financial upswings or luck, please buy a robot with your new money and have it listen to your rants.
Yawn

It's the rush of making large amounts of money with a few clicks, but you need to learn actual trading including fundamentals, technicals, hedging, etc.
Once you know this, the world will never be the same.

I love how salty people are about bitcoin. I swear people just love to see it fall because they are either jealous that they missed out or maybe they just want everyone to be miserable as they are. Poor little man.
