People everywhere are clambering to get back to exactly doing what they were doing pre-covid. The pandemic has taught very few people any lessons.

With vaccines around the corner, summer will be near back to normal with people hanging out on Granville en masse, shopping, running around the sea wall without masks and misbehaving in Yaletown. Vancouverites are oversized children, and struggle with being told what they can and cannot do. It's "the west coast playground" after all, right?
Things will return to near "normal" after we're all vaccinated.

Humanity has set itself on a course that started with the industrial revolution, and it will have to run that course.
