One ain’t the loneliest number

After going through a horrible break up, I’ve lost interest in dating. I honestly don’t want to get into another relationship and have my heart broken again. I’m really getting used to living a single life and embracing it. The way things are going for me now, I honestly don’t need any significant other to define or complete me. Sure, life has been a lot quieter but after all is said and done, I love my single quiet life the way it is and would never change anything about it. All bones and no bull.

Completely opposite to the above confession about "Future Me" trying to find someone to breed with, you are the well-adjusting one.
You have to be happy with yourself before someone will be happy with you...

Never. Careful there
You can always tell when someone's gonna leave you-they get strangely quiet. If you want to get this guy back sis, and I know you do, imagine he's Pat Benetar : TREAT ME RIGHT!

That's awesome! I can totally relate. It's empowering when you realize that you can live your life for yourself.

I've been single for a while and love it.I do what I want and don't have to worry about someone else's opinions, preferences, likes etc. There are worse things than being alone and when I see how unhappy my friends are who are in a relationship,I'm grateful. And they envy the freedom I have.Yes,I feel lonely at times but it's fleeting and doesn't consume me.So many people will settle for anyone because they don't want to be alone.Plus,I get the whole bed to myself.

Single life is great. You don’t have to answer to anybody, no ball and chain telling you what time to come home. You have the freedom all to yourself. Who could ask for more.

My point exactly

Good on you for leaving your ex behind and putting your ex in the past right where they belong. If you don’t take care of yourself, then who will?

Truth be told

I know some people who broke up with their significant others and miss them terribly. It’s taking them a long time to let go of something that no longer is. But judging by your post, you seem to be taking it very well. You sound like one of the most resilient people on this planet and that’s admirable. I think you can be a great example for others by showing them that life does go on and the world’s not coming to an end. Bravo!
