Cameos!

I love cameos in movies. Especially John Landis movies in the 80s. He used to put his film director buddies in his films all the time. Spies Like Us had Joel and Ethan Cohen. Also Sam Raimi, Costa Gavras, Michael Apted, Larry Cohen and Marty Brest. And Into the Night had tons of director cameos: David Cronenberg, Jonathan Demme, Jim Henson, Jonathan Lynne, Paul Bartel, Paul Mazursky, and Amy Heckerling. Speaking of Amy she put her boyfriend Martin Brest in a cameo in Fast Times at Ridgemont High. Feel free to add more. Yeah I love cameos that is my confession.

You will be severely down voted for your lack of whining, complaining and downright happy post.

I'm wondering about the cameos

that keep showing up in the 'Real Life Movie' on Planet Earth. Over the course of history some freaky monsters in human disguise don the politcal cameo generating fear and then in the anxiety and confusion they grasp political power. And, thankfully we get some real life heroes step up to cameo in the political arena to be of real help. Here's hoping the good guys prevail. Actually perhaps we should set all the 'guys' on the sideline and go back to letting the Grammas have the last say. Somehow i think if the Grammas would have been honoured, they would never have allowed nuclear weapons to be built. OCM Coast SalishSto:lo salutations

John Landis always cast Frank Oz as a total prick in his movies like Blues Brothers and an American Werewolf in London. I remember Jim Henson’s cameo in Into The Night. If you close your eyes, it’s like you’re hearing Kermit the Frog.

I totally recall Jim Henson‘s cameo in Into The Night. He was talking on the phone with his agent, Bernie.

Jim: Have I ever I lied to you? Ok but we can talk about it? Listen, Bernie, I’ll call you back.
