nomo

I will not be resuming my promiscuous lifestyle when the pandemic is under control. It's too much hassle and I've gotten used to the slow pace of life, eating at home, walk the dog and learning the boogie woogie piano to irritate the neighbours...

I was pondering this the other day: post-Covid, will people be cautious about physical relationships and go back to a more slow, romantic hand-holding type of thing (retro 1950s)? I imagine we'd have a natural fear 'hangover' of being too physically close to someone, but perhaps this quiet time alone has been sort of hitting a re-set button of sorts, a realization that some things might actually be more important to us than they were before. Which, in my view, would be kind of a lovely thing. Sounds like you're enjoying this quiet time, and I imagine your dog is, too. (And yay to the boogie-woogie - tried any Fats Waller yet?)

You won't but many will. So many people are longing for human touch, passion or just hot, intense sex. Vancouver's STD rates will spike and look like Whistlers when covid is really over. Pharmacies need to stock up on antibiotics. You've been warned.

Right up to the point where you relished annoying your neighbours. Not cool.

They used to call me the King of boogie woogie

After a certain time in the evening they'd call me whatever I wanted to get rid of me. However I knew deep down they loved and respected me because the very
next night we'd be right back at it...

Depending on the Hellmouthy neighbours and how successfully the OP irritates them, they may be eligible for a Nobel Peace prize.
