Whiskey has been known to lead to limp cucumbers in vast quantity. Add to your list.

Been drinking for years. But now it's getting to the point it is not fun, with more insane behavior coming from me. I don't want to wake up in a police cell.

Sounds like something someone my age would write, so last century.

All it has ever done is make me sleepy, but I am a fairly controlled person.

It's funny how people define control, tho.

Like, a lot of people say "you're out of control" when they mean 'you're not obeying me!"

As for waking up in a police cell, you'd have to do something pretty bad for that to happen in Vancouver, e.g. sell drugs in another gang's territory.

Firewater never helps. Reasearch the etymology of the word Al / Cohol . In the ancient protohebrew it is 'El' the Spirit of 'Cohol / Ghoul = spirit eater = Vampire

Haha, never knew the last two but makes sense
Going from a higher alcohol to lower alcohol content over the night is the message here... I find with beer it's best to ramp up and drink the stronger stuff at the end though, because it will make 5% taste like water afterwards.

The problem with your view is that there are plenty of successful alcoholics. We all die eventually, and many die of the same things alcoholics die of like cancers automobile accidents etc. I don't know if it's that alcohol causes the behavior or if people who already behave this way tend to like alcohol but most of the friends I have who are successful middle class people they drink one to three drinks everyday. And then more on the weekends. I have friends at UBC in The faculty who literally say things like if only I had a few drinks I could remember what I was going to say. Now of course most of these people are not what I would call virtuous so I think you're correct about alcohol having some sort of moral issue. But the fact of the matter is you can't eat morality and in a world of alcoholics well what are you going to do?
