Aw So Cute!

While I was waiting for the train today, I observed a fat chickadee perched on a sign above the platform. Its puffy little body looked a little damp but it was chirping away merrily. It made me so happy! I felt like I could just stand there watching it for at least 20 minutes. Bird TV is no substitute for seeing with your own eyes. Please send more.

I saw a couple of cats playing around with a couple of squirrels in someone's front yard today.

Aw so sweet! I’m in my early 30s and I LOVE birds. I recently set up a few feeders in my yard, and the chickadees, finches, juncos, sparrows and hummingbirds just make my day, I could watch them all day!

Chickadees roost on my deck in my palm trees, splash around in the bird bath, nest in the bird houses I built for them, get sunflower seeds from the feeder and will take peanuts from my hand or come in a couple feet into my place to get them. They nest on my deck most years, and the chicks are continually flying into my apartment

Right. Q-anon dropped the real dope: he was actually a dealer using the innocent creatures to ferry little packages around town! Club of Rome. Hand to God

Chickadees are a blessing. They're smart, inquisitive, friendly little spitfires. Seeing them always brightens my day.
They are too adorable

that's for sure. I melt every time I see the cute little birds sitting on branches, hopping around on the ground, playing with each other or fluttering about.
Most animals cause a similar heart-melty feeling in me, but I have a special soft spot for birds and rodents. :)
One of the nicest things in this otherwise concrete-jungle-esque and remarkably socially cold and disconnected, palpably unfree feeling and almost anti-celebratory city, are the birds and their chirps, tweets, warbles and song. And like, the trees, and the clouds and rain. Flowers. Adorable little bugs making their way around.
Some people here really are super nice, warm, expressive and interesting, though. And generally most people in most places are actually... decent human beings. It's just that for whatever reasons, Vancouver's overall social climate has always felt crappy in general :( Distant, disconnected, stiflingly reserved, and very "stranger danger"-y, with some refreshing exceptions.

I filled up & set up a feeder on the sundeck,
then i had to pour the last half of it out and restock it with -> squirrel-proof bird seed.
Nothing against squirrels, they're cute af!, but the feeder's for the birds. k
