... well I have to commute and frankly it's much easier to be able to take the bus to Maple ridge and back without having to find a washroom.

Better word?

Not diapers. That's not a word that will help you feel OK about this. I found this "preferred terminology" from a company that makes them - "incontinence briefs" or "adult briefs". It might seem like a euphemism, but in this case, we could all use one.

I have to wear maxi pads every month.

It's pretty much the same thing. It's a fact of life for many menstruating women who aren't on birth control or aren't comfortable with tampons.

To keep it on the humorous side

I'm tempted to ask: You wouldn't sh*t us would you? But on the real side, I'm hitting my ages too* and got to remind myself to lean into the positivity of somehow somewhere its all good in the big picture........... ps: as a then young adult, I read the first Straight in the Summer of Love, so that validates my aging perspective.

You’d be surprised at how many executives (under the age of fifty) in Hollywood wear these. 80% of IBS is just alcoholism and eating disorders. Get your s**t together. Literally.

Not mixed

I’m hating it. I’m one of those people with multiple chronic health issues (systemic autoimmune disorders and a few other things as well) that have only gotten worse with age. I’ve done my best to stay very fit up until a few years ago when some major crises completely knocked me down. Now I’m facing old age with poverty and ill health. So no mixed bag for me. So far it’s very hard to find anything good about it. Enjoy your youth while you have it people, and for gods sake save as much as you can for your old age. You just never know when life is going to knock the living s**t out of you.

I find it more honorable to accept things as way they are and move on instead of always pretend to make one self feel better artificially. Its all fact of life.
