I...posted May 7th, 2021 at 7:34 PM ... have started wearing adult diapers. Getting old is a mixed bag. AnonymousMay 8, 2021 at 1:47amBadum tssssh... @Did You Mean To SayMay 8, 2021 at 3:21am... well I have to commute and frankly it's much easier to be able to take the bus to Maple ridge and back without having to find a washroom. Better word?May 8, 2021 at 7:21amNot diapers. That's not a word that will help you feel OK about this. I found this "preferred terminology" from a company that makes them - "incontinence briefs" or "adult briefs". It might seem like a euphemism, but in this case, we could all use one. astronautsMay 8, 2021 at 8:55amwear diapers. I have to wear maxi pads every month.May 8, 2021 at 11:31amIt's pretty much the same thing. It's a fact of life for many menstruating women who aren't on birth control or aren't comfortable with tampons. To keep it on the humorous sideMay 8, 2021 at 12:45pmI'm tempted to ask: You wouldn't sh*t us would you? But on the real side, I'm hitting my ages too* and got to remind myself to lean into the positivity of somehow somewhere its all good in the big picture........... ps: as a then young adult, I read the first Straight in the Summer of Love, so that validates my aging perspective. D. PendsMay 8, 2021 at 12:48pmYou’d be surprised at how many executives (under the age of fifty) in Hollywood wear these. 80% of IBS is just alcoholism and eating disorders. Get your s**t together. Literally. Not mixedMay 8, 2021 at 4:45pmI’m hating it. I’m one of those people with multiple chronic health issues (systemic autoimmune disorders and a few other things as well) that have only gotten worse with age. I’ve done my best to stay very fit up until a few years ago when some major crises completely knocked me down. Now I’m facing old age with poverty and ill health. So no mixed bag for me. So far it’s very hard to find anything good about it. Enjoy your youth while you have it people, and for gods sake save as much as you can for your old age. You just never know when life is going to knock the living s**t out of you. @Better word?May 9, 2021 at 6:53pmI find it more honorable to accept things as way they are and move on instead of always pretend to make one self feel better artificially. Its all fact of life. LOAD MORE Join the Discussion Your name Comment * your name What's your name?
