I hate Classic Rock 101

I used to love listening to Classic Rock 101 back in the day, but it's getting boring. They play the same ten overrated songs by bands like Led Zeppelin, Queen, Aerosmith and the Eagles. There's so many other amazing rock bands that deserve more radio play these days. So Classic Rock 101, I'm done. You've ruined Hotel California for me.

I hate classic rock period. I was walking past a building site with several workers in their 20s and 30s and the radio was jacked up with classic rock from the 1960s and 1970s. Hippie crap and cheesy rock anthems. When will these people start listening to 90s grunge or punk, when they're 65? There's great music being made today, look for it. It won't be on the radio.

Most Canadian radio sucks. The CRTC regulates it just like they do to TV and soon the internet. Try out 92.9 KISM. The station is in Bellingham and it’s so much better than 101.

....strictly for the musically challenged; or the plain lazy.
As for Jack FM, “playing what we want”, most of the time it begs the question: Why the hell would you want to?

Seriously. I listen to everything. I’m in my 60’s and I listen to absolutely any kind of music that I like. No specific genres. If I like it, it’s on my play list. Lots of good old stuff and lots of good new stuff. There’s no need for anyone to trash-talk any specific genre or type of music they don’t like. If you hate it, don’t listen to it! Pretty simple.
