This site should have one because half the time my cringe at my own comments and want to delete it. Written responses read lot harsher than intended.

Dan offers some advice on where she might find it.
We both abruptly stopped on the corner of W Hastings/Cambie near the park and seamlessly started...

You should also have the option of turning off the comments for your own post. I've said this for awhile and they still haven't done it so don't hold your breath.

It's not anonymous for all of us either. Try emotional regulation sometime, it works.

But then you'd need to make a user account and then it would no longer be anonymous....
Just ask people like "sir expat" about that.

Anonymity allows for frank replies (among others) without regard to wanting to appear popular but thats mixed bad. I feel bad being brutally honest sometimes

Comments are made and they should be anonymous .
But nothing is really anonymous anymore.

I’ll type something spicy into the comment box, take a breath to evaluate whether it’s worth saying, then delete the whole thing.
Mute button?

Like Donald Trump. Some of you suck at being human. No change ever. Always looking for outside blame. Do you also need a chaperone on the bus? At your age, you need to grow up.

It's always the stony walled demarcated dudes that have no control over their emotions that try to pathetically control every one else's. One sociopathic joker without a conscience after another. Same boring story.
It's pretty simple.

Type as you would like to be typed at. There are a lot of people who come here and they're isolated, vulnerable. They need kindness. Even if it's just through a computer screen. Unfortunately, the comments are full of hurting people who lash out & troll as a means of coping with their pain. I've written some painfully personal things here, and I've been grateful to be able to do so in an anonymous space, and I'm even more grateful for the kindness I saw in the comments.
@it's pretty simple.

Yes you would think. Many of us haven't been given the same courtesy. I live around emotionally immature idiots who make sport of privacy and get a sick kick from cowardly speaking to people they can't irl. It's pathetic and laughable what they think they know about anonymous people. Unfortunately the calculation and premeditation is not always a "hurting" person. It is entertainment. Like I said it's not anonymous for everyone. Their loss and they know it. Their biggest concern shouldn't be deleting comments.
