I just wanna golf is that so bad.

When I was a kid playing all kinds of sports golf never was on the radar. Now all I want to do is spend time chasing that little ball. I’m in my happy place on the course it’s my favourite place to be. If I could i’d golf every day.

Costs like $10 for a bucket of balls. can you usually rent a club or buy a driver for $10 for a thrift shop. drink a beer. hit some balls. that's the best first entry to golf.

Toxic Fairways

Is there a course in the Vancouver area that doesn't use pesticides? Do some research on the toxic effects of playing golf. There's evidence linking low-dose, long-term gestational exposure to pesticides, as an effect of residential location, and neurodevelopment disorders like Autism Spectrum Disorders, low IQ, birth defects, and developmental delays. Be careful out there.

Sure, golf is great as long as you're into chemically soaked misappropriated Indigenous lands that privilege dudes like you over Indigenous people having access to housing in their territories.

Golfing gets a bad rap

People think it's all business men, middle-aged white men, or retirees, it's assumed women or people of colour aren't into it.
