I......

... really like eating eggs. I always thought I didn't like them but then I watch Julia child and a bunch of other chefs cook them and they all seem to do them less than you get them in a restaurant they're sort of they're not runny like they're not liquidy they're just almost like a custard. I started doing them up in a double boiler and my goodness I honestly rarely eat anything and go I could eat that again.

Eggs are superfood. They are rich in the two antioxidants lutein and zeaxanthin. These antioxidants gather in the retina of the eye, where they protect against harmful sunlight and reduce the risk of eye diseases like macular degeneration and cataracts. Eggs are only 77 calories, with 5 grams of fat and 6 grams of protein with all 9 essential amino acids. Rich in iron, phosphorus, selenium, and vitamins A, B12, B2 and B5 (among others) and have about 113 mg of choline, a very important nutrient for the brain.

If you have prostate cancer
Eggs are the worst thing to eat
It’s the choline

Are "free range eggs" really a humane choice?

News flash: All chickens used in the egg industry are eventually killed. And their lives leading up to being suffocated, ground up alive, killed when their throat is slit, or scalded to death are no picnic, either. So when you eat eggs, this is the kind of cruelty you support. Please research what happens in factory farming for egg, dairy, and beef products. There are hundreds of other superfoods that don't contribute to animals' suffering or global warming. Please reconsider.

Well thankfully I eat enough eggs at that sort of argument from emotion or sentimentality doesn't work on me. Other than supplementing choline is a fine chemical or eating lots of very expensive meat and then likely getting too much fat and possibly excessive protein which you probably have a problem with anyway I have found no way to get enough choline in my diet other than eating eggs. The sort of advice you give doctor Sally is very bad because some people have genetic differences that make them require more choline and methyl donors and so by telling them not to eat foods like eggs even if you can survive without eating them some people can't some people need far more of this substance than others do. You wouldn't say someone should make themselves sick for the sake of avoiding animal cruelty would you I mean if we have to choose between animal cruelty and being sick we choose animal cruelty don't we doesn't that make sense? In a perfect world I'd buy the $8 a dozen eggs from a nice farm out in Abbotsford that I know but I can't afford that.
