People who, for whatever reason, are depressed, lonely and isolated, unable to form connections for friendships, relationships, steady jobs. They venture onto the internet and find a community with misguided, extremist views and suddenly they feel like they belong. It's a sad situation.

That is one hypothesis. A recent study suggests hesitancy is strongest in dropouts and doctoral degree holders. Maybe it is a folk myth that education selects the brightest?
If you dislike writing tests, eg have a well formed ego with nothing to prove, you won't ever get that try hard nasters degree...

If he’s not then he needs to worry.
They claim that once vaccinated you’re less likely to perish from it. The vaccines do nothing about transmission. People with two shots are getting it still. Tim Dillon (a comedian) had both doses and he contracted covid last week… so?
