Feeling a little guilty but I’m sure it will pass soon
posted September 20th, 2021 at 3:06 AM
I had to buy an expensive item ($1999.99) and I used emotion to swing the price down to $1500 tax in with free delivery. On one hand, proud of myself, on the other hand, manipulation of a human is not what I’m about.

Did you yell, or threaten? Did you cry? Did you use your power or influence to manipulate this business? People who ask for discounts are some of the worse most entitled people one the planet.
$1999.99.

of course retailers do that because it just sounds better than $2000.00.
Good on you to take a look at your inner life motivations

So many want to change the world and so few have the perspicuity to change themselves. I like what the great civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr.'s elder mentor named Howard Thurman taught him: “Don't ask yourself what the world needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive, and go do that, because what the world needs is people who have come alive." And ain't that the same basic core truth of all the valid faith patterns? And incidentally if you think about it, that's certainly not a call to be a chicken sh*t avoiding helping others, as brother Martin certainly put himself on the line to stand for uplifting our pitiful human race out of the rat race.

that is uncalled for and i would bet that you would, or have tried before, to do the same thing your own self. retail is usually over priced anyways and that is why they accepted the deal and no body forced them into it.
why feel guilty?

I wouldn't feel bad at all. It's called commerce. Besides, there's no way a business will sell you something and not make at least a little bit of profit, that just will not happen. So yeah, good on you for getting a deal!
Not expensive

$1999.99 is not expensive for a car. Nevertheless, you should never feel bad about swinging a good deal. Congrats.

The S stands for suggested which means negotiable.
When I sell something I add 20percent to the price I want.
Let them beat me down 10percent everyone goes away happy none the wiser I would have gone down another 10 percent.

No. Never. If I cant afford it I dont buy it.
Also, I buy used stuff because its better for the environment and older shit is typically better made.
