Kinda. I'm 38, never had a phone. At this point I think it's more out of stubborn resistance more than anything else. Some stuff is harder to do...my condo gym now requires an app to prove vaccination status. I'm vaccinated but no phone...so no gym.

In a world where technology is everywhere, unplugging (so to speak) is becoming increasingly difficult. But if you’ve got the willpower to really limit your screen time it can definitely be done. Almost everyone I know now no longer has a landline, and with phone booths becoming rare, having at least a cell phone seems to be the minimum. It would be virtually impossible for you to attend any type of class however, since they pretty much all require some online access. Whether it’s the actual class being done virtually, or registration or receiving information, you would need an email address and access to a computer.

If you need an app to get your vaccine status and you don't own a smart phone how do you get your card or whatever the fuck you need from it? Some people don't have smart phones and have downgraded to a dumb phone. Some just don't have a phone. I don't want any government app on my phone. I'm also in no need to have it because I'm not vaccinated but also not opposed to the vaccine.
