Is that a bear?

I haven't taken my shirt off in public before because I'm hairy. I'd love to during summer but I haven't found a way to accept the enormous amount of looks I'd get. I don't get out much but I haven't seen any hairy dudes walkin' around the city with their shirts off.

A. I put my legs on one pant at a time.
Q. How did the lovelorn furniture maker describe his seff?

Move to Europe. Everything is perfectly acceptable on a beach in Europe, even a heavy, hairy middle-aged man in a banana hammock.

Lots of women find the fully masculine, bear-ish look very appealing

... of being a man is not caring so much what strangers think. If they stare, shout at them.

I find it disconcerting the loathing that seems to be going on regarding body hair.I'm in my 50's and I grew up with body hair( an unshaven pubic area) and accepted that this is the way my body looks. It was never a problem either with my sexual partners and I actually found it sexy.Maybe I'm in a minority that doesn't mind pubic/ body hair.I know many men feel self conscious regarding excessive body hair but in many cultures it's not a big deal and I like this attitude.Within these cultures, they don't feel as embarrassed about hair on their bodies. When did we become so disgusted with body hair and especially pubic hair.I shaved my pubis once and never again. And biologically, pubic hair acts as a level of protection. Let me state clearly that I do and will trim here and there but just as I will accept a partner with their body hair,I also expect to be accepted as I am.I'm not going to cave into societal pressures to shave.I wonder how other people feel. Are there others who feel the same way?

that is a pretty sad comment. When did body hair become so offensive? Be proud of who you are, body hair and all.

I wish all I had to worry about was my body hair. Not only am I hairy, I've got larger breasts than many women out there. It's something I've had to deal with since an early age. So, don't worry, you're not the only one who can't walk around with no shirt on. I wonder what it's like to swim in a public swimming pool, or lay in the sun on the beach...

I hear you but ...I love a hairy man

I really love a hairy man, just not a smelly man, I'm a bit disappointed when I end up with a grooming man. I'm a trimmed lady and I get a bit self conscious if I meet a man who thinks bare is better. We aren't the visable norm around here, but shaving began because of lice, so fuck em.
