Relationships don’t do it for me anymore. Ever since I went through a horrible break up, I just don’t feel ready for commitment now. Sex is the only thing that I can be bothered with. It’s at the forefront of my mind. I’m not in any mood for history to repeat itself since the last thing I need is toxicity and drama so I’d much rather hook up with a decent fuck buddy wheres there’s no strings attached or drama of any kind. Don’t hold it against me. We all have preferences.

This sounds like a serial sex fiend who has simply hit the inevitable "wall".
Monogamy is so underrated these days.

It is good for a person to know that about himself. It saves both you and potential partners a lot of heartache, freeing both up to go seek what they need and want. Very sensible. Good luck.

So you can't control your dick? The entire point of sex is committment. The lady is risking pregnancy and more.

Many guys seemed wired to do, "no strings attached sex," and can feel fulfilled or enjoy it. Personally, I need to be emotionally connected and committed, otherwise I can't enjoy sex fully and its one-sided. Woman, stop faking pleasure for a "no strings" guy and up your standards!
Men who can’t handle “drama”…

… are usually the ones who create it. Anyone who says “no drama” really means “I’m going to act however I want and you can’t respond to it because I don’t care how my behaviour effects you.”
Nothing wrong with that

Why does everyone assume that the Op is male? It’s entirely possible for women to only want sex too you know. I don’t see anything wrong with someone not wanting a committed relationship when they’re not ready for one. Saying that the entire point of sex is for commitment is extremely old fashioned thinking. Human beings are sexual animals and it’s a normal drive in all of us. The concept that people must only have sex within a relationship is puritanical. As long as the Op is open and honest from the start that they’re not interested in anything other than fwb, that’s perfectly okay. (Btw, I’m a woman.)

What's with the weird posts telling people how to feel. Who are you people trying to convince? Do whatever you want, if someone chooses not to sleep with you because of that, it's their right. You control your choices, they control theirs.
Agreed

Don’t let anyone change your thoughts on how you feel. Sex is a primal instinct and it’s good for humans to become fully aware of their own sex drive. Forget what these boring old fashion fuddy-duddy types say. Just do whatever’s congruent with your lifestyle.
