Feels good

Nothing feels better than deleting dating apps. Not due to having met someone, more so out of futility and hopelessness, but it still feels like I am shedding something in a good way.

On just saying no to the abyss. Back to life, back to reality.

honest question

Why are people on dating apps so flaky?
Seriously, why?
Why bother signing up and then messaging someone only to ghost them when they actually reply?? What was the point?
I've had people tell me to "Fuck off" after I replied to them because they thought I sounded too "cold," and I was notified that one person apparently had their account suspended for sending me abusive/threatening messages after I didn't show them any interest.
I feel like all the good ones are taken and all that's left are the freaks/rejects who all migrate to the apps only to turn the whole thing into a shitshow.
Also, I suppose all the actual dateable people prefer to meet in-person through their social circle (friend of a friend etc?)

It does feel great! Kind of nice that it gives you a reason to look up, around and maybe interact a bit more than usual with the folks you encounter!

You’ve got the right idea
I deleted mine after just the worst dates
Some people are single for a reason it seems
I vow to never online date again
So soul destroying
It has never worked out for me
