I don't do Facebook

I'm sure people have probably posted about this many times, but I digress. So glad I finally closed my Facebook account for good. It brought out the worst in me and nearly ruined my life. Being on that superficial platform nearly cost me a great deal of my sanity and dignity as well as my health. Getting rid of it permanently has made me a much better person. I can't emphasize enough just how gratifying it feels to be free as a bird. And Whoever wants to stay in touch with me can either send me an email, text or better yet meet in person.

Facemash

Oct 1, 2021 at 1:19am

It’s comical just how difficult/annoying these tech wizards make it to deactivate an account. “Why are you leaving?” “How about just a week?” So gross. It’s easier to leave a gang. Tech geeks need you. Not the other way around. They need your genius. Your light. Your spark. Stay inside. Stay isolated. Stay afraid. See a doctor. Take their sedatives. Sleep. Sleep. They live. We sleep.

I’ve deactivated them and also changed the colours off in the accessibility settings. Just grayscale. Bright shiny app colours are like added sugar. Have a little dessert.

Fakebook makes you sad.

Fakebook is sick and twisted, and screws everyone on up that uses it. It increases people's blood pressure, increases levels of depression from comparing yourself to other people's fake lives, GROWN ADULTS experience peer pressure, and it even makes people fat by increasing people appetite from the pictures of food. Delete Fakebook.

So many people hanging their dirty underwear in public; and so many bleeding all over each other. What happened to people communicating directly with each other?

Great job. Like 99% of the so-called "friends" on there are actually your "friend" and will lend you a hand when you are down

A stomach for social

I know someone who hasn't gotten rid of their platforms but they've practically abandoned them. I think it was because they felt embarrassed, exposed to criticism they couldn't handle. They thought they were this great parent, loved by all, had great taste etc. but someone they know looked at the pics and ripped into their dillusion. You know what they say, the camera doesn't lie. The individual got so upset that they hid access and now avoids social media like the plague.

I have...

... always treated facebook as a video game. It's not real life, it's a video game! I don't like it very much tho, there's too much censorship. Give me the good old days on Efnet, without channel services---if you wanted to censor people, you had to run a botnet, and even then, if you censored the wrong person, they could packet your botnet and take your channel.

Now that's freedom: your ability to censor requires you to engineer a botnet! Makes you wonder who the botnet is IRL, no? Who's programming them to tell us what we can and cannot talk about?
