cold food

I've stopped ordering from any place that uses a bike delivery system...too damn tired of getting cold food all the time.

My food is cold! You didn't pedal fast enough! Now my entire day is just ruined! I will just take my Daddy's money and patronize some other business, thank you very much.

I've never used those either because of the way the riders behave on the sidewalks, crosswalks and intersections.

Well, aren't you the privileged one complaining about cold food being delivered by people trying to make ends meet. You obviously are suffering an extreme case of first world problems. It's hard to sympathize with whiners such as yourself.Count yourself lucky that you can order food in.

So there's this thing in your kitchen

called an oven and stove top. You can use it for cooking, you can also pre-heat the oven to 350 in order to warm the delivered food in the event it's too chilly for you.

Back when I lived where food delivery was an option, and a once-a-month treat, that's what I would do. Pre-heat the oven. Then for the rest of the month use the oven and stove top to cook my own meals.

Now I live in the middle of nowhere and there is no food delivery (I miss the treat). I am very glad I know how to use this mysterious and hard to use device. The cooker.

I can use the cooker. My grandmother and mother taught me to use the cooker. My only experience with other people cooking comes from a handful of meals I prepared with friends and also home economics 8th in my public school. Everybody that cooked with learned how to cook from family. Them in home economics 8 I saw how people could not cook because they hadn't been trying to. It sure is good that our school system forces people to do ten or eleven years of social studies rather than ten or eleven years of cooking. I mean come on what's more important memorizing political propaganda or learning how to make a souffle and a loaf of bread and a reduction and the basic sauces and so forth? I mean literally you get social studies from grade 1 till grade 10 I think you have to have some sort of social studies 11 to graduate I'm not sure I can't remember but like 11 years of memorizing lists of prime ministers. So I hear what you're saying and it is possible for people to learn on their own but it's not like we have a society that teaches people to take care of themselves. They're taught to remember eyes political propaganda. That was something my social studies teacher did tell us that social studies was political propaganda.

At it's best-and that is a stretch- is when it's hot off the grill, or steam plate.
After sitting on a counter waiting for, pickup and then 5-15 minutes for delivery- I imagine would give plenty of time for the grease to congeal.
Get yourself a box of burgers from Superstore, some buns, a bag of fries and cook yourself a whole bunch...for little more than the price of that same crappy McD burgers meal
