Waiting

The crappiest part of the job hunt is waiting. Once I apply, I want to know right away if anything will happen. Waiting just sucks. I’ll try and preoccupy myself but end up checking my phone all the time for a response.

is a virtue. But I feel what you are saying. Things ain't easy in these Covid/Climate Crisis/Cuckoo times BUT there is plenty of work for those who have a work ethic and are adaptive to try new and different things. Sure, some will say: "Yea but the pay is low and living expenses are high." That's true so we've got to be realistic, frugal and practical. Like the reggae music great Jimmy Cliff sang: "You can get it if you really want, but you must try, try and try; You'll succeed at last."

A person looking for a management position which requires no experience.
The pandemic has cleaned all that up.
In my place of work the management is terrified to say anything for fear of being out in the street.
The workplace has never been more productive.
I like the new paradigm we have moved into and hope it flourishes
